Stress and Anxiety Reduction for Teens

During the pandemic, I am conducting all of my sessions online. At this
time, I am not running groups for teens. When I return to seeing people
in person, groups will resume.
If you're a teenager, then you know how stressful life can be. It's easy to get stuck. This small group (5-6 teens) is designed to help you learn strategies to cope with stress and more. In a safe and compassionate place, you'll learn how to manage your life and get unstuck.

The group meets weekly for 8-10 weeks. Sessions are 75 minutes long.


You and your peers will learn together how to manage your lives and support one another. However, this is more than just a support group. You will learn how to implement tools to reduce your stress and anxiety in a number of ways.


Topics include:

  • Academic stress

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Family and home life

  • Insomnia

  • Peer relationships

  • Procrastination

  • Self-esteem

  • Social media

  • ...and whatever is important to participants


We'll collaborate and find tools that work. With the support of your peers and me, you will learn how to create a new and lasting brain map using neuroplasticity, cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, mindfulness and more.

Private groups meet in my office. Space is limited. The fee is $480 for the 8 sessions and includes a take-home stress reduction kit.

I also offer the Stress and Anxiety Reduction for Teens group at school sites. If you are interested in having this group meet at your school, please contact me.


For both private groups and school groups, participants must meet with me individually as a prerequisite, so that I can ensure the group will work well together.
